Sometimes plans change, and that’s okay! Whether it’s a surprise vacation or a last-minute change of heart (or paw 🐾), we understand. Just take a moment to check out our cancellation policies below so we can keep things running smoothly for everyone—two-legged and four-legged alike!
To secure your furry friend’s VIP snuggle time, we ask for a 50% deposit up front. This helps us keep things fair and ensures your pet gets the attention and care they deserve!
Once your deposit is in, your dates are officially booked and held just for you—no take-backs from other hopeful paws. We hold your requested dates for 48 hours while your deposit comes through.
Balance: The remaining balance is due on the first day of your pet’s stay.
Cancellation Info:
These overnight stays are highly desired with limited availability, so we require 6 weeks’ notice for cancellations.
Cancel within 6 weeks, and we retain the deposit, unless we are able to fill the spot, in which case the deposit will be refunded.
Cancel within 2 weeks of your stay, and the full amount will be charged, unless we can fill the spot, in which case we will refund accordingly.
Holidays: Any cancellations within 4 weeks of a holiday period will be charged in full, due to high demand.

Life can get busy, and sometimes your pup needs to hit pause on their walk. No problem! Just give us at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel.
Same-day cancellations or no-shows are subject to the full walk charge—our walkers (and your pup!) were already lacing up their sneakers!
Anything after regular inquiry hours (6 PM) counts as the next business day for cancellations.
Owner Illness: If you’re sick but your pup is at home and ready, we can still walk them. However, if you have a contagious illness, we cannot attend—this is to keep our walkers (and other pets) safe. In non-contagious situations, if we can’t walk your pup, 50% of the fee will be applied to your next bill to keep things fair.
Emergencies: Life happens! We’ll always use discretion for true emergencies—just let us know.
Refunds: If we are able to fill your pup’s spot, we’ll happily refund your payment.

We know sometimes nature calls suddenly—but for any last-minute late-night potty stops, we kindly ask that bookings be made before 6 PM. After that, our phones clock out for the evening (just like us!), and we won’t be monitoring messages.
Late-Night Visits After 7 PM: Any visits scheduled after 7 PM are subject to a $10 additional fee, since they fall outside our regular hours.
Plan ahead and we’ll make sure your pup gets their moonlight stroll safely and happily! 🌙🐾

To keep your home and furry friends safe, we kindly ask for a door code or lockbox for entry. If you prefer to hide a key, that’s totally okay—but please note we can’t be held responsible if it goes missing. Thanks for helping us keep things safe and snug! 💛

Deposits & Balances:
All visits outside of #TeamPupStrut require a 50% deposit to secure your spot. We hold your requested dates for 48 hours while the deposit comes through.
The remaining balance is due on the first day of the visit.

Cancel within 4 weeks (1 month): We retain 50% of the booking fee.
Cancel within 2 weeks: The full amount will be charged.

We love keeping tails wagging on weekends! To cover the extra coordination and staff availability, all weekend visits are subject to a $5 fee per visit.
Exception: Visits that cover 4 or more consecutive days are not charged the weekend fee—because long stays already block significant time in our schedule.

Sometimes plans pop up unexpectedly, and we’re happy to help—but last-minute bookings require a little extra coordination!
One-Off Visit: $5 last-minute accommodation fee applies.
Multiple-Day Visits: Up to $20 total for last-minute bookings covering several days.
This helps us make sure your pet still gets the same VIP care while we adjust our schedule to accommodate your needs.

If you’re away during snowy weather, please make sure your property is safe and accessible for our visits. This includes shoveled pathways and cleared driveways, so your pet can safely go outside and our team can reach them.
Responsibility: It is the client’s responsibility to arrange snow removal for major snowfall/driveway clearing.
Safety First: Please leave ice remover and a shovel available as we will provide minimal maintenance to safely enter the home.
Snow Removal at Owner’s Expense: If necessary, we may hire snow removal services to make your property accessible. The cost will be billed to the owner.
